Failla Wines
September
Founded in 1998 by Ehren Jordan, Failla Wines has become one of California’s most celebrated producers of cool-climate Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, and Syrah. What began with a small hillside vineyard in the Fort Ross-Seaview AVA has grown into a collection of acclaimed estate vineyards spanning Sonoma Coast, Mendocino Ridge, and Oregon’s Willamette Valley, each chosen for its unique character and exceptional growing conditions.
Failla’s philosophy is rooted in thoughtful farming and minimal intervention, allowing each vineyard to express its own sense of place. Working with rugged coastal sites shaped by marine influence, fog, and varied soils, the winery crafts wines known for their energy, balance, and remarkable purity. Every bottle reflects a commitment to showcasing the individuality of the vineyard rather than the hand of the winemaker.
Today, Failla continues to produce elegant, site-driven wines that have earned widespread acclaim while remaining dedicated to sustainable farming and meticulous craftsmanship. From vibrant Chardonnays and expressive Pinot Noirs to distinctive Syrahs, each wine offers a true reflection of the cool-climate regions that inspire them.
